The Harvey Grammar School offers a broad and balanced curriculum; challenging, engaging and personalised to meet the needs and aspirations of its pupils.

Key Stage 3

Pupils in Years 7-9 follow a Key Stage 3 curriculum broadly based on the National Curriculum.

From Year 8, pupils can personalise their learning through option choices, which reflect their aptitude and interests, in preparation for Key Stage 4.

Key Stage 4

The vast majority of pupils select a core curriculum which delivers the English Baccalaureate.

In addition, pupils select options from a broad range of GCSE and equivalent courses. Support and guidance for parents and pupils in making these choices is given during Year 9.

Sixth Form

The Sixth Form offers pupils a wide range of A Levels and equivalent vocational courses.

Pupils typically choose three or four post-16 courses to begin the Sixth Form, depending on performance at Key Stage 4 and influenced by their interests, aptitude and plans for learning beyond the Harvey.
