About this position

We are seeking to appoint an imaginative, enthusiastic, and committed teacher to lead Biology in this highly successful selective school for boys. The school is an Ofsted outstanding one, and this is a rare opportunity to join a friendly, collaborative and successful department in a genuinely high achieving school.

The successful candidate will work alongside our established Head of Science who leads the department as well as our Head of Chemistry, who leads that subject, to help deliver strong outcomes in Biology across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. This post would clearly suit an aspiring teacher relatively early in their career and looking to climb the career ladder. However, we would equally welcome applications from more experienced colleagues looking for a chance to focus their efforts on leading Biology in a selective school where you can work with bright and motivated young men.

We would like the successful candidate to join us after the Easter break in 2021.

Applications will be considered in order of receipt.

The school is committed to safer recruitment practice and pre-employment checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed.

This post is subject to enhanced DBS clearance.
